Domestic flights to Goa are available from Delhi and Mumbai with airlines such as Indigo, Air Asia, Air India, Jet Airways, Spice Jet and Go Air. The flights from Delhi and Mumbai to Goa take about 1 hour. At Mumbai, you need to go through immigration, pick up your luggage, and then transfer from international airport to domestic airport by free bus. Please have at least one hour for this transit process.
Goa has only one airport called the Dabolim International Airport which is approximately 24 kms from the school. It is a fairly small airport but you will still need to clear through immigration and customs.
If you have booked a transfer with Incredible English, please look for the Incredible English representative holding a board with your name printed on it, as you exit.
Prepaid taxi counters at the airport are the best option as one pays the taxi fare to their destination according to a pre-set government approved fare chart. Some taxi drivers still know the school by its former name ‘Silken Sands’ at Dando Football ground. The taxi journey takes about 30 to 40 minutes from the airport to the school.
In order to evaluate your level of English, you will have to answer a written test. An oral test will be conducted at 8am, Monday morning.
Orientation is provided to new students after the oral test. You will then be placed in the appropriate class. If you have any queries, you can contact our Academic Head, Faith Joseph.
